Hand and Foot Assemblies

£80.00

Our Limb Bones are life-size anatomical bone assemblies designed for forensic research, simulation, training, demonstration and technical testing applications.

Available as either an Upper Limb with Hand or Lower Limb with Foot, each assembly is manufactured from durable solid PVC and incorporates the associated long bones, joint bones and appendages as a complete articulated skeletal structure.

The individual bones are wired together through the joints, allowing the hand, foot and associated joints to be repositioned as required. This enables the assembly to be arranged into different anatomical positions before being incorporated into a test medium, anatomical model or Defensible Ballistics Sim.

Unlike our Long Bone products, Limb Bones are supplied as solid PVC only and do not incorporate a synthetic bone marrow cavity.

Key Features

Hand or Foot Assemblies

Choose between a complete Upper Limb with Hand or Lower Limb with Foot skeletal assembly.

Life-Size Anatomy

Produced at approximately life size to provide a practical representation of the bones and joints of the human extremities.

Solid PVC Construction

Manufactured from durable PVC, providing a consistent and easy-to-handle alternative to biological skeletal material.

Articulated Joints

The bones are wired together at the joints, retaining the relationship between the individual skeletal components while allowing them to be repositioned.

Posable

The articulated construction allows the limb and appendage to be arranged into a range of positions to suit the intended simulation or test configuration.

Complete Assembly

Supplied as an assembled skeletal structure, including the associated limb bones and the bones of the hand or foot.

Sim Integration

Suitable for incorporation into synthetic or natural ballistic gel, anatomical models and custom Defensible Ballistics Sim products.

Product Options

Upper Limb – Hand

Includes the forearm and hand skeletal structure, including the radius, ulna, wrist and hand bones.

Lower Limb – Foot

Includes the lower leg and foot skeletal structure, including the tibia, fibula, ankle and foot bones.

Specifications

Product: Limb Bones

Available Variants: Upper Limb with Hand / Lower Limb with Foot

Size: Life size

Material: Solid PVC

Construction: Articulated skeletal assembly

Joint Connection: Wired

Positioning: Adjustable / posable

Bone Marrow Cavity: Not available

Applications

  • Forensic and terminal effects research

  • Anatomical simulation

  • Ballistic Sim construction

  • Medical and trauma training

  • PPE and protective equipment evaluation

  • Research and development

  • Comparative testing

  • Demonstration and educational applications

  • Integration into tissue simulants and anatomical models

Articulated Construction

The individual bones are connected using an internal wire articulation system. This allows the skeletal assembly to retain its overall anatomical arrangement while providing sufficient movement for the joints and appendages to be positioned for a particular application.

Once positioned, the assembly can be incorporated into a suitable tissue simulant or anatomical model to create a more complete skeletal structure.

Please note: Limb Bones are anatomical test and simulation analogues. They provide a practical representation of human skeletal anatomy and articulation and are not intended to reproduce every mechanical, structural or biological property of natural human bone or joints.
